Reverend John Nevin Sayre, (February 4, 1884 - September 13, 1977), was an Episcopal Minister, Peace Activist and Author. He was an active member of the Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR) and a founding member of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship.
Sayre is most remembered for his work promoting peace and supporting concientious objectors throughout the world through the magazines he edited, the books that he wrote and the various peace organizations he belonged to or founded.
