John Moses Brunswick

John Moses Brunswick (October 6th 1819, in Bengarten, Switzerland -July 25th 1886) was the founder of Brunswick Corporation.

He came to the United States in 1834 and worked as an errand boy in New York City. he then moved to Philadelphia to work as an apprentice to a carriage-maker.he moved later to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where he married and lived before moving a gain, this time Cincinnati. he worked as a steward for 2 years there on an old river steamer. He was Jewish.
