John Moses (born August 9, 1957 in Los Angeles, California), is a retired professional baseball player who played outfield in the Major Leagues from 1982-1992. He later was a 1st Base/Outfield Coach for the Seattle Mariners from 1998-2003 and the Cincinnati Reds in 2006. In 2007 he started off serving as the home field batting practice pitcher for the Mariners and then became the interm first base-coach after manager Mike Hargrove resigned. For the 2008 season, he is serving as the hitting coach for the AAA Las Vegas 51s.
