John Middleton (1678-1739)

John Middleton (1678 – 1739) was a Scottish politician and Member of Parliament who was burgess of Aberdeen Burghs in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Middleton was elected burgess of Aberdeen three times and served as burgess almost continuously from 1713 and 1739 although his leadership dwindled in 1715, and 1722 when he stepped down for several weeks.
