John Douglas Meyers (born January 16, 1940 in Forest City, Iowa) was an American football defensive tackle in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at the University of Washington. John was a high school phenomenon playing for Richland High School in Richland, Washington. He was a three sport star and was an all-state football player in 1957 and led the Bombers to the 1958 State Basketball Championship.
