John Maringouin

John Maringouin (born September 2, 1973, New Orleans) is an American film director.
His first film, Just Another Day in the Homeland, was a documentary concerned with the first days of the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
His second film, Running Stumbled, was a documentary about his father, an artist and drug addict. It is notable for an unexpected conclusion involving the consequences of Hurricane Katrina.
Maringouin is reported to be currently making a documentary entitled Big River Man, about Martin Strel, who swam the length of the Amazon River.
