John M. Carroll

John Michael Carroll was a member of the United States House of Representatives. He was born on April 27, 1823. He graduated from Fairfield Seminary and Union College in 1846. In 1848 he was admitted to the bar. In 1871 he was elected to his one and only term in the United States Congress; he declined to run for a second. He died on May 8, 1901.
