Jonathan Anthony Lapus (or known as John "Sweet" Lapus born on July 7, 1973 in Manila) is a Filipino actor, host and comedian.

Lapus' career started in 1993 and worked as a researcher of ABS-CBN's Showbiz Linggo. He's also an alumnus of University of Santo Tomas, where he was an active member of Teatro Tomasino. He appeared in his ABS-CBN shows like The Buzz as co-host. His nickname "Sweet" named after his character in a sitcom Arriba! Arriba!. In 2006, he was transferred to GMA Network. He currently hosts a segment "Don't Lie To Me" on Showbiz Central. He also appears in GMA Shows and movies. He has planned to portray the villain character Ida in Zaido but Paolo Ballesteros was chosen for this character. Lapus won two awards namely, Best Male Stand-Up Comic in Aliw Awards 2006 and Best Game Show Host (Along with Ai-Ai de las Alas) for ABC-5's Sing Galing in PMPC Star Awards 2004
