John Keith Oliver

John Keith Oliver was the Anglican Bishop of Hereford for 14 years bridging the 20th and 21st centuries[1]. Educated at Westminster and Caius [2] he married Merial Moore in 1961[3] After a curacy in Norfolk, he then spent a period as chaplain and assistant master at Eton. Following incumbencies in Devon he became Archdeacon of Sherbourne before elevation to the episcopate in 1990. He was succeeded by Anthony Priddis, previously Suffragan Bishop of Middleton[4].
