[edit] Dark Resurrection - novel
In 2001 Karr published Dark Resurrection, a work of horror fiction. According to the author's personal website John Karr personal website The original publisher, Barclay Books LLC/Spectral Visions [[1]] has gone out of business and all rights have reverted back to the author.
Note: The Amazon.com listing for this novel lists Spectral Visions as the publisher. Other sites list the publisher as Barclay Books, LLC. Spectral Visions was the horror imprint of Barclay.

In 2006 Karr published a serialized short story called Demon Chaser. Demon Chaser was published in the online "ezine" Worlds of Wonder Worlds of Wonder website

According to information from August, 2006 on his personal blog John Karr blog Karr has completed The Painters Dream, a work of fiction involving Vincent van Gogh's real self mutilation and admittance to an insane asylum. Karr has submitted the book to publishers and is awaiting word on its acceptance.

Karr is also nearing completion on an as yet unnamed novel. He describes the book as a "heroic fantasy." No information is provided as to a possible publisher; nor has a release date been announced.

In August 2006, the following message was placed on John Karr's website "Public Service Announcement time: I am John Andrew Karr. I live in North Carolina with my wife and kids. I am NOT the scum arrested in Thailand for the murder of that poor little girl JonBenet Ramsey. His name is John Mark Karr. If he's guilty, he can't die soon enough."
