John "Bull" Karcis (December 3, 1908September 4, 1973)[1] was an American football running back in the NFL for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and New York Giants. He also played college football at Carnegie Tech. Karcis was also a head coach in the NFL briefly for the Detroit Lions.
