John Joseph Adams

John Joseph Adams (born 1976-) is an American science fiction and fantasy editor and critic. As of 2007, he is an assistant editor at The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction. He is also the editor of the post-apocalyptic reprint anthology Wastelands: Stories of the Apocalypse (Night Shade Books, January 2008), and the forthcoming original anthology Seeds Of Change (Prime Books, August 29, 2008).
In addition to his work at F&SF, Adams is a reporter for SCI FI Wire, and his genre essays, interviews, and book reviews have also appeared in a variety of publications, including Amazing Stories, Kirkus, The Internet Review of Science Fiction, Intergalactic Medicine Show, Locus Magazine, Novel & Short Story Writer's Market, Publishers Weekly, Science Fiction Weekly, Shimmer Magazine, Strange Horizons, Subterranean Magazine, and Writer's Digest.
