John Hutchinson (born December 29, 1979 in Morwell, Victoria, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player. He currently plays as a central midfielder for the Australian A-League club Central Coast Mariners. Hutchinson was awarded the Chairman's Award for outstanding service to the Mariners in 2005-06.

He is one of the most highly-lauded prospects to emerge from the Gippsland Falcons youth setup.

After recovering from a knee injury, Hutchinson has become a key player for the Central Coast Mariners, playing in central midfield with Mile Jedinak and Tom Pondeljak in Version 3 of the A-League. This form has lead him to be named one of the most influential players in the A-League[1] and more recently a call up to the Socceroos training squad.[2]
