[edit] Trivia

In an interesting bit of trivia, John Hilton caught the last touchdown pass of quarterback Bart Starr's career in 1970, making Hilton one of the great quarterbacks last tight end targets.

One of Starr's earliest tight end targets was another Fork Union Military Academy alumnus, Steve Meilinger, catching Starr's passes in 1958, the quarterback's third year in the league.

Hilton also caught Starr's first touchdown pass on Monday Night Football in the fourth Monday Night game to be broadcast.
