John Grubb

Dr. John Grubb is a faculty member at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. He is Managing Partner of the Orthodontic Clinic and a Clinical Professor of Orthodontics, where he is coordinating clinical treatment objectives at the College to match those of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). Dr. Grubb is President of the ABO.

He also is part of a team that is building a virtual simulation laboratory for orthodontics and orthognathic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Previously, he served on the faculty of the University of Southern California.

Dr. Grubb has published 15 articles in refereed journals and has made more than 40 scientific presentations in the United States, Switzerland, Israel, France, and Canada.

Honors received by Dr. Grubb include the Gustav Kruger Oral Surgery Award and Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists.

Dr. Grubb received a BS in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland, his DDS from Georgetown University, and his MS in Orthodontics from the University of Washington.

A veteran of the United States Navy, Dr. Grubb has four daughters and a son: Colleen, Laura, Sandi,Sharon, and John.
