John Goldring

Sir John Bernard Goldring (born 9 November 1944), styled The Hon. Mr Justice Goldring, is a judge in the High Court of England and Wales.
He was called to the bar in 1969 and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1987. After serving as a Recorder in the Crown Court, a deputy senior judge of the Sovereign Base Areas of Cyprus, a deputy High Court judge, and a judge of the Courts of Appeal of Jersey and Guernsey, he was appointed as a High Court judge, assigned to the Queen's Bench Division, in 1999.
He was appointed as a member of the Judicial Appointments Commission in February 2006, as representative for the judiciary.
