[edit] Personal
Gilmore went to Wilson High School in West Lawn Pennsylvania and was taught by Mrs. Holly Hartman who recognized his potential early in his career. He played football there and was voted Wilson's 1996 male athlete of the year, Associated Press first-team All-State, and first team all county (Berks). Gilmore drew a small amount of media attention on July 22nd, 2006, after he was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Initially, the altercation started when Gilmore refused to leave a bar, and later refused to be handcuffed by police officers. [1]
Gilmore and his wife, Rebecca, are the parents of a son, Grayson, born March 11, 2007.[2]
He is represented by fellow Penn State alumnus Chafie Fields.[1]
