John Garner (born January 9, 1947) is an English professional golfer.
Garner is retired from professional golf. He won one European Tour event in his career. He defeated Neil Coles in the final at the Benson & Hedges Match Play Championship in 1972. He didn't win again until 1998 at the Senior Tournament of Champions on the European Seniors Tour.
Garner appeared in the 1971 and 1973 Ryder Cup. He made one appearance in the 1971 cup. He teamed up with Neil Coles in a four-ball match against Americans Frank Beard and J. C. Snead. Beard and Snead won by the score of 2 & 1. Garner was selected for the 1973 team but did not participate.
