John Flannagan

John Thomas Aloysius Flannagan was the 2nd president of St. Ambrose College from 1891 - 1906. Flannagan was born in Haverville, Massachusetts. He was the second priest on faculty during Aloysius Schulte's duration as president. While president of the school himself, his sister Editha Flannagan ran the Immaculate Conception Academy. The two worked together on many events between the two schools. Flannagan promoted boy's choir and Latin on campus, and went to the Sacred Heart parish after his term as president. He died January 26, 1926.
