John Erskine, 1st Baron Erskine of Rerrick

John Maxwell Erskine, 1st Baron Erskine of Rerrick (December 14, 1893 – December 14, 1980) was Governor of Northern Ireland from 1964 to 1968.
Erskine was educated at Kirkcudbright Academy, Kirkcudbright, and the University of Edinburgh.
He was General Manager of the Commercial Bank of Scotland from 1932 to 1953, and a director from 1951 to 1969.
