John Wayne Ennis (born October 17, 1979 in Montrose, Colorado) is a right-handed relief pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies organization. Ennis made his major league debut on April 10, 2002, with the Atlanta Braves.
John pitched 4 innings in his first major league game; however, that one appearance was his only appearance for the Braves. John pitched 16 innings in 12 appearances for the Detroit Tigers in 2004, posting an 8.44 ERA. John made his Philadelphia Phillies debut on August 26, 2007, pitching three innings and getting his first career save. Ennis was designated for assignment by the Phillies on February 26, 2008.
