John Deere World Headquarters

The John Deere World Headquarters is a complex of three buildings located on 1,400 acres (5.7 kmĀ²) of land in Moline, Illinois. The complex serves as corporate headquarters for Deere & Company. It opened on April 20, 1964. The buildings were designed by architect Eero Saarinen, who died before its construction was complete. The project was finished by architect Kevin Roche.

The main building is also known as the " Glass Palace" due to the choice of materials. It was built of COR-TEN Weathering steel.

The design for the campus was created by the late Hideo Sasaki of Sasaki Associates landscape architecture firm. The design was honored with the prestigious ASLA Classic Award in 1991, and is considered by many to be the archetypal corporate setting.
