John Dalley (born 1935) is second violinist of the Guarneri String Quartet was born in Madison, Wisconsin, United States and studied with Efrem Zimbalist.

Dalley has been on the faculty of the Oberlin Conservatory, a participant at the Marlboro Music Festival, and artist-in-residence at the University of Illinois.

Dalley has since played extensively in the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand in recital and as soloist with orchestra. He is on the faculty of the University of Maryland School of Music. Dalley plays a Nicholas Lupot violin, made in France in 1810.

John Dalley was a member of the Oberlin String Quartet.
