John Cullen (born August 2, 1964 in Puslinch, Ontario, Canada) is a former professional ice hockey centre who played ten seasons in the National Hockey League between 1988–89 and 1998–99.
John Cullen followed his father, Barry Cullen, and uncles Brian Cullen, and Ray Cullen into the NHL.
He did not play during the 1997–98 season due to a battle with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
During his time in the NHL Cullen played for four different teams, the Pittsburgh Penguins, Hartford Whalers, Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Cullen was drafted 10th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1986 NHL Supplemental Draft. In 1987–88, while with the Flint Spirits of the International Hockey League, Cullen led the league with 109 assists and 157 points.
