John Collins (born c.1969) is an American director and designer of experimental theater from New York City. John was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and graduated from Yale University in 1991. He is founder and artistic director of Elevator Repair Service theater, a New York-based theater ensemble. He has also worked as a sound designer for the Wooster Group. John is also a private pilot.
