John Clive Ward

John Clive Ward (1924-2000), was a British physicist. His most famous creation was the Ward-Takahashi identity, originally known as "Ward's identity". He also worked on British atomic weapons and claimed to be the "father of the British hydrogen bomb".

He is one of the creators of the Standard Model.
