John Climping or John of Climping or John of Arundel[1] was a medieval Bishop of Chichester.

He was a clerk of Ranulf of Wareham by July 18, 1220.[2] By 1232 he was a canon of Chichester Cathedral and was named Archdeacon of Chichester by December of 1242.[3] He was then Chancellor of Chichester by July 17, 1247 as well as rector of Climping.[4] He was elected to the see of Chichester on May 20, 1253, and consecrated on January 11, 1254[5] at Canterbury.[1]

He died on May 18, 1262.[5]
