John Chishull or John de Chishull was Lord Chancellor of England, Bishop of London, and Lord High Treasurer during the 13th century. He also served as Dean of St. Paul's.

He was made rector of St Mary's Church, the parish church of Broadwater in Sussex (now part of the town of Worthing) in 1259. He was selected as Chancellor in November of 1263 and served until February 25, 1264.[1] He also served as acting treasurer during November of 1263.[2] On October 30, 1268 he was reappointed Chancellor, serving until July 29, 1269.[1] On February 6, 1270 he was appointed Treasurer and served in that office until June 9, 1271.[2]
He held the prebend of Chamberlainwood in the diocese of London before he had the office of Archdeacon of London. He was archdeacon by January 15, 1263.[3] He was then Dean of St Paul's in London between August and October of 1268.[4]
He was elected bishop on December 7, 1273 and consecrated on April 29, 1274.[5][6]
He died on February 8, 1280[5] or on February 7, 1280.[6]
