John Chapman (born 1955 in Wiltshire) is an English actor.

John Chapman's career with film started when he was cast as the X-Wing Pilot Red 12 Drifter in the original Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.[1]

Chapman runs his own Successful Interiors Company based in Newbury, Berkshire but still makes time for his true passion in life, acting (stage or screen) and is actively involved with the "Box Theatre Company"[2]

After a twenty year career in business and project management, John moved back into film and music video production, where he executive produced She'll Fall For Me, a music video for Christopher Lee.[3]

With his business knowledge and film contacts throughout the UK and US, John is a director of Ghost Pictures and The Performance Academy. He is the producer of Walking with Shadows, a teen drama.[1]

He is attached to produce Dare To Fly and to Executive Produce The Knowing, both works by Paula Wynne.[1]

John is also set to direct his own screenplay Lost In Security, and a Newbury Community Youth Project, The Chain. Chapman has a number of other projects in various stages of development.[1]
