John Cameron of Lochiel

John Cameron of Lochiel (d. 1748) was the 18th chief of Clan Cameron and a significant Jacobite. He fought at the Battle of Glen Shiel in 1719, and died in exile in Flanders.
His father and predecessor was Ewen Cameron of Lochiel and his son and successor was Donald Cameron of Lochiel, who played an important role in the Jacobite rebellion of 1745.
