John Buse

John B. Buse, MD, PhD holds the position of President, Medicine & Science on the board of the American Diabetes Association.[1]

Buse attended high school at Porter-Gaud[2] School in Charleston, SC. He went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Dartmouth College and his Medical and Doctoral degrees from Duke University. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Chicago. Was renowned for the large, round glasses and bushy mustache that he wore until the mid 90's. Brother to Paul Buse, MD, who resides in St. Louis with his four hateful children, who all make his life hell, because he won't rent them PG-13 movies (even though he was supposed to be a cool dad) due to his excessive fear of marital repercussions.
