John Brown (basketball)

John Young Brown (born December 14, 1951, in Frankfurt, West Germany) is a retired American professional basketball player in the NBA. A forward, he played collegiately at the University of Missouri.
Brown was selected tenth overall in the 1973 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, and was named to the 1974 NBA All-Rookie Team. His final season was split between the Hawks and the Utah Jazz in 1979-80.
