John Bowe (born 1 February 1950 in Cheshire, England) is an actor best known for his performances on television.
His most high profile role is probably that of George Marlow in the first Prime Suspect serial in 1991. He also played Duggie Ferguson in Coronation Street from 1999 to 2002.
Other TV credits include: Warship, Secret Army, Families, Boon, The New Statesman, Lovejoy, Silent Witness and Dalziel and Pascoe.
In 2007 he played Dr Morgan in the BBC five-part series Cranford.
