John Black is a fictional football (soccer) player who appeared on the British drama Dream Team, about the equally fictitious Harchester United. He is played by Gary McDonald.
Squad Number: 3, Harchester's inspirational captain, John Black is at the end of his career, he is recovering from leg injuries. His main aim for signing with Harchester was so that he could live his dream of playing at Wembley in the FA Cup Final before he fully retires.John is very depressive, sensible and very unpopular amongst his team mates. He first came to Harchester as an old friend of Ian Coates.
