John Bellamy (therapist)

John Bellamy, born in Hillingdon, Middlesex, United Kingdom on 18 April, 1955. is best known as a spiritual therapist.

He trained in the USA in physical body techniques of massage and body manipulation, as well as reading psychology. He developed the concept of'inner understanding' of the esoteric and alternative belief structures that are fast returning to the public domains. He also heralded in a new style of spirituality and content.

He spent extended periods in Hawaii and Mexico before returning to England where he worked as a bereavement counsellor with the Lesbian and Gay Bereavement Project. He has undertaken a wide variety of voluntary work for the gay community.[1]

He produced and edited The Pink Path and The Vine magazines from 1998 until 2004 and was the creator of the Gay Spiritual Group which staged the Connections seminars in London in 1998 and 1999 for the gay and lesbian community.

Bellamy left London to found the Hamilton Hall Gay Spiritual Centre in Bournemouth in 1999.[2]

Hamilton Hall is the only retreat style hotel in Europe for gay and bisexual men catering to mind body and soul and specialises in events from a metaphysical, new age, holistic, alternative and spiritual perspective.
