John Beane

John Joseph Beane III (born July 21, 1975) is an American independent theatre actor and director. He is the founder and artistic director of the Insurgo Theater Movement and the artistic director of the Onyx Theatre in Las Vegas, NV.
In 2001 Beane formed the Insurgo Theater Movement, an ensemble-driven non-profit troupe in Southern California dedicated to the classics, avante-garde and original works. In 2008 Insurgo was named Best of Las Vegas by City Life magazine [1]. In 2008 the Onyx Theatre was named Best of Las Vegas by the Las Vegas Review Journal [2].
Beane has portrayed Hamlet, Salieri in Amadeus, Petruchio in The Taming of The Shrew, Henry II in the Lion In Winter, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and Dr. Faustus.
