Barbour portrayed a game show host named Harry Monte in a 1975 episode of Sanford and Son.[4][5]

He also directed and wrote the 1991 documentary The JFK Assassination: The Jim Garrison Tapes.[6] This film covers the investigation of District Attorney Jim Garrison, who, after the 1963 assassination of John F. In it, connections between the assassination and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Mafia, the Cuban missile crisis, the Vietnam war, and other organizations as well as foreign affairs are hypothesized.[7][8][9]
