John Bannister Tabb

John Bannister Tabb (1845-1909) was an American poet much influenced by Edgar Allan Poe, John Keats, and Percy Bysshe Shelley.
He is chiefly remembered today as educator of Jack London's friend, Californian poet George Sterling.
The Tabb Monument in Amelia County, Virginia is dedicated to his memory.
