John "Jack" Archer (born August 10, 1921 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England – died July 29, 1997 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire) was a British athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres.
He competed for Great Britain in the 1948 Summer Olympics held in London, Great Britain in the 4 x 100 metre relay where he won the Silver medal with his team mates John Gregory, Alastair McCorquodale and Kenneth Jones.
