John Anderson, 3rd Viscount Waverley

John Desmond Forbes Anderson, 3rd Viscount Waverley (born 31 October 1949) is a British peer. He is one of the ninety hereditary peers in the House of Lords elected to remain after the passing of the House of Lords Act 1999.
The son of the 2nd Viscount Waverley, he succeeded to his father's titles in 1990. Anderson was educated at Malvern College and worked then as adviser to The CCC Group. He is member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs. Anderson has received the Grand Cross of the Colombian Order of San Carlos in 1998 and the Jubilee Medal of Kazakhstan in 2002.
Lord Waverley married firstly Anne Suzette Davidson in 1969 and secondly Ursula Helen Barrow on 4 January 1994.
