John Aldam Aizlewood

John Aldam Aizlewood (born 1895; died 1990) was an officer in the British Army and British Indian Army during the interwar years and World War II.

As part of Paiforce (formerly Iraqforce), Brigadier Aizlewood commanded Hazelforce and the Indian 2nd Amoured Brigade Group during the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Persia.

In 1942, Aizlewood was promoted to Major-General.
