John Adams High School (Jamaica/Ozone Park)

John Adams is located on Rockaway Boulevard in Ozone Park, New York. The area in which John Adams sits is an eclectic area diverse between Howard Beach (mostly Italian), South Jamaica (mostly African American) and Richmond Hill (mostly Guyanese American). During the late 1990's serious over-crowding of New York City Public High Schools forced John Adams to build temporary units for classes on the front lawn which usually held the schools graduation.
