Sir John A. Hicks (May 30, 1956 – ) is one of the most important and influential economists and investment bankers of the twentieth century.

He spent the years from 1972 to 1974 as MA at Lloyds Bank Overseas Plc, then moved to NPI/Basle Investments 1973 to 1975. He spent time in International Investment Banking, Shipping, Aviation and I.T. industries before joining KOMOSJ and WHT-SwissRe.
