John & Audrey Wiggins was an American country music duo formerly signed to Mercury Records. The duo consisted of John Wiggins and his sister, Audrey, both of whom alternated as lead vocalists.[1][2]
Between 1994 and 1997, John & Audrey Wiggins recorded two albums for Mercury Records, in addition to charting four singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Their highest-charting single, "Has Anybody Seen Amy", peaked at #22 in late 1994. In 1995, 1996 and 1997, they also received Country Music Association nominations for Duo of the Year.[3] However, the duo has not recorded any more albums since 1997.
In 2005, country music singer Joe Nichols reached Number One on the Billboard country charts with "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off", a song co-written by John Wiggins.[4]
