Johar Town in Pakistan is a residential area located in the north of Lahore on the map, neighbouring the motorway M-2. It is the largest residential society of Lahore developed by Lahore Development Authority- LDA. The population in this newly established suburban area is sprawling as the property rates offered here are lesser than other very expensive suburbs of Lahore city like DHA. But the prices are on the rise. The area is providing a very good housing opportunity for the upper middle class people.

There are many schools inside it, most noticeably Lahore Grammar School(LGS), International School of Choueifat and Lahore College Of Arts and Science(LACAS) and Lahore Paradise School Systems, The City School.
Allama Iqbal Medical College also near to its teaching hospital Jinnah Hospital

Expo centre of Lahore is also being constructed in this area.
Shopping areas are present on College Road, and Link Road for local residents, provide bustling markets and Bazars.

Many restaurants, food chains, offices, banks are establishing in this area. All types of food can be found here ranging from fast food to Pakistani food including Chinese. Some of them are Sichwan, Caspian Sea, Z-Grill, Pizza Hut, and KFC.

There are also a few major hospitals in this area which include Jinnah Hospital, Doctors Hospital which is considered the best private Hospital of Lahore and Shaukat Khanam Cancer Hospital built by Imran Khan in memory of his mother it provides free medical services to the cancer patients is also situated here.
