Johan Turi

Johan Turi also spelt Johan Tuuri or Johan Thuri (1854–1936) was a Sami author. His first book was called Muitalus sámiid birra and tells about the life of people herding reindeer in the beginning of the 20th century. The book was translated to Swedish, Danish, English, Italian and German.
