Johan Thorbjørnsen (born August 19, 1983 in Bergen) is Brann's 2nd choice at the goalkeeper spot. He became Norwegian U18 champion with Brann's junior team in 2002. Thorbjørnsen debuted in the Tippeliga April 11, 2005 against Molde where he kept a clean sheet. Thorbjørnsen usually guards the Brann-goal in the first rounds of the Norwegian football cup, and whenever Håkon Opdal is injured.
