[edit] The Article Joel Wijesuria
The article that you just wrote, Joel Wijesuria, has been listed for speedy deletion. Please do not write a biography of yourself or non-notable people like friends, family, etc. on Wikipedia. It is considered vanity. Thank you. -- King of Hearts | (talk) 21:01, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi, Joel. I have placed a tag on the articles Joel Wijesuria, J.W. Studios, and a few others, requesting that they be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I did this because the articles seem to be a biographical accounts about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why these articles are really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on their talkk pages. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the articles. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. -- Vary | Talk 21:01, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
I don't think it's a good idea to write an autobiography even if you are notable. Autobiographies tend to have a point-of-view perspective on the subject. Please see WP:NPOV for more details. -- King of Hearts | (talk) 21:20, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
