[edit] No need to move KDFO or KRAB.

Radio articles should be named for their official FCC call signs whenever possible. The other page you saw probably had a disambiguation page for the official call sign so they had the add (FM) after the calls. This is not the case with KDFO or KRAB. No need to move these articles. Feel free to visit Wikipedia:WikiProject Radio Stations for further details on radio station naming standards. RobDe68 (talk) 19:18, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

I don't mind answering a few questions. I'll repeat though that most of the questions regarding station articles can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Radio Stations. Look under the section on stations with government issued call signs to fully understand how to name station articles. RobDe68 (talk) 02:45, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Question

Hi, Sorry for not replying earlier (I thought I did, I must have closed the page without saving the page). I see you asked for an account rename so I guess the matter is moot now :). I have unprotected the page. Keep in mind that you're definitely not supposed to move it around ;) (Personally, I prefer keeping my real name low on the Internet, but that's my opinion). -- lucasbfr talk 09:08, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Protection

My name is Ken Santarelli, I post my name on the internet all the time. Nothing bad has ever happened to me. I have my mobile number all over the internet too, the worse that has happened is that I've gotten a few prank calls. The things I don't give out to people would be my home address, my debit card number, my social security number, etc. Some people just prefer to be cautious. If you like having your username as your real name that is okay, I doubt anybody is going to hunt you down or anything like that. Whammy (talk) 16:06, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Content of articles is governed by the rules, not by who wrote them

The Wikipedia style guide says to not use the word "currently" without stating "as of when", since the reader has no way to know when the article was written without looking at the history(not all readers have access to the history). As to not modifiying "your" page, the author of a wikipedia or someone affiliated with the subject of the article does not have any more rights over the page than any other. You'll see a very clear message to that effect every time you submit an edit.StreamingRadioGuide (talk) 15:52, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
