Joel Lamoure is a mental health pharmacist at London Health Sciences Centre, South Street Hospital. Joel also works as an Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry University of Western Ontario and Teaching Associate, Faculty of Pharmacy University of Toronto. Since March 2007 he has been serving on the Medscape Pharmacist Ask The Expert (ATE) Panel. (http://www.medscape.com/pharmacists/asktheexperts).
He has won the Western USC Teaching Roll of Honour Award of Excellence in Medicine for 2006 and 2007 and the University of Toronto Teaching Award of Excellence for 2006. He has published almost two dozen journal papers on mental health medications and their impact to the patient and their quality and quantity of life.
Joel was awarded a Fellowship in the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists in 2000 and and is an inductee in the 2008 edition of the Canadian Who’s Who. He currently focuses, researches and works with general psychiatric, ADHD and substance abuse clientele.
